The domestic car-building plant Tulpar supplied the next batch of its products for JSC Passenger Transportation. Already this month, 28 new cars will begin to run as part of routes in the west and north of the country. Last year, the company’s fleet of vehicles was replenished with new reserved seats and compartment cars in the amount of 91 units, which managed to prove themselves well and successfully run in the directions Almaty - Mangistau, Atyrau - Nur-Sultan, Atyrau - Almaty and Nur-Sultan - Saryagash. It is worth noting that since the beginning of this year, Passenger Transportation JSC has already purchased 18 wagons from the plant, and by the end of the summer season it is planned to complete the delivery of 22 more reserved seats, which will be sent to the directions Atyrau - Mangistau, Nur-Sultan - Semey and Almaty - Zhezkazgan. These cars were assembled using the technology of Tver Carriage Works OJSC and purchased as part of the implementation of the Nurly Zhol State Infrastructure Development Program. The purchase of wagons was financed by DBK-Leasing JSC (a subsidiary of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, part of the Baiterek NMH structure).

- This car uses the latest innovations regarding the comfort and safety of passengers. The service life of new cars is 40 years. Judging by the positive reviews, passengers like cars, and we are glad that our product meets all the requirements of the customer, ”said Evgeny Khazov, Managing Director of Tulpar Car-Building Plant LLP.

The cars are designed for 54 berths and are equipped in accordance with modern requirements, including individual power sources.

The car also has a refrigerator, microwave, drinking water dispenser and titanium with hot water.

The cars have an air conditioning system equipped with filters for disinfection and air purification.

Also, for the safe passage of passengers, a video surveillance system is provided.

The advantages of the new car do not end there. For the safety of passengers, they were equipped with a fire protection system.

Well, perhaps the most popular update of the car is the electronic panel that notifies passengers about the use of bathrooms, the train route and air temperature. By the way, two dry closets are placed nearby, at the end of the carriage and are equipped with 1200 liters of water.

Today, the National Carrier's rolling stock is about 2,200 units, and judging by statistics, reserved seats remain the most popular class of service: more than half of passengers choose these types of wagons for travel.

It is worth noting that Passenger Transportation JSC adopted a strategy to upgrade rolling stock until 2029, within the framework of which it is planned to purchase 469 passenger cars that meet the latest international requirements for safety, comfort and environmental friendliness.
