Industrial zone «Saran» of Karaganda region became a driver of development of the economy of the region and the country. Here with the support of Industrial Development Fund JSC at QazTehna factory the project on production of passenger buses, career, construction and road special equipment of Yutong brand was realized.


The plant cooperates with the world’s own passenger transport manufacturer Yutong, and high-tech equipment purchased under the Industrial Development Fund JSC funding program, allows you to use advanced production technology and produce high quality products.


The production of equipment at the plant is carried out by the methods of large-assembly and small-assembly, which allows to provide production capacity - up to 1500 units of passenger buses and up to 1,000 units of special vehicles annually.

The company consists of welding, painting and assembly workshops. The production line includes urban, intercity, electric and gas buses, as well as quarry, construction and road special machinery.

The project on the production of passenger buses and special road vehicles at the QazTehna plant was implemented within the framework of the State Program of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025.

The project created 644 new jobs. Since 2022, the plant has produced more than 1,800 units of machinery, and the level of localization of production was 32% (the level of localization - 32%).

The creation of new jobs, the development of infrastructure and the renewal and modernization of the fleet of vehicles in all regions of the country contribute to economic growth and an increase in the standard of living of the population of Kazakhstan.

The large-scale project aimed at the creation of high-tech production in the Karaganda region became a striking example of the organization of import substitution and the engine of successful modernization of the country’s public transport network.
