The coronavirus pandemic has affected every corner of our country, and has shown how important the availability of modern equipment is in saving lives. That is why, in Kazakhstan, the renewal of medical transport continues, which today more often leaves for urgent calls.

Ambulance stations in East Kazakhstan will be replenished with 116 new ambulances "Gazelle" of domestic production. The ambulances assembled at the facilities of the SemAZ plant, the car assembly plant of the Virage Group of Companies, comply with state requirements and are equipped with the most modern medical equipment.

The transport will be delivered within the framework of the Roadmap for the renewal of sanitary transport in Kazakhstan. This program allows health departments of regional akimats and cities of republican significance to renew their vehicle fleet on preferential terms through leasing financing of the Industrial Development Fund JSC.

“Today, doctors are at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus. All Kazakhstanis pin their hopes on them, therefore, in such difficult conditions, the availability of comfortable and modern cars can help them save human lives. Ambulance vehicles "Gazelle" have established themselves as comfortable and reliable vehicles with high driving performance, which allows them to be used both in urban conditions and in rural areas. We hope that the ambulances assembled at the Semaz plant will help our doctors to carry out their work even in the most inaccessible regions, ”emphasized Ermek Yeskergenov, General Director of Virage.

Ambulances "Gazelle" are, in fact, mobile medical centers, which, depending on the purpose and equipment, are produced in three categories: A, B and C. Each category has its own characteristics - from ambulances for first aid - to reanimation vehicles equipped with the most modern high-tech equipment.

The Virazh company will transfer 6 ambulance all-wheel drive vehicles Gas Sobol 4x4 to the ambulance stations of East Kazakhstan, intended for transportation of patients, servicing ambulance stations and evacuating victims.

Also, the car fleet will be replenished with 110 ambulances based on Gazelle NEXT, of which 4 belong to class A for transporting patients, presumably not being emergency patients, 82 cars of class B - for carrying out medical measures by the medical team and providing emergency medical care , as well as 24 reanimation vehicles belonging to the class "C". All cars comply with the Euro-5 environmental standard.

Gazelle ambulances are safe and comfortable for both patients and medical teams. Their main advantage over competitors is their high maneuverability and resistance to harsh weather conditions. The ambulances are equipped with thermal and sound insulation. Car prices and cost of ownership are significantly lower compared to other manufacturers.

This also applies to the cost of maintenance, spare parts and consumables. Continuous operation requires regular maintenance, therefore the service centers of the Virage group of companies operate in all regions of Kazakhstan and provide a full range of services.

The Semaz plant is one of the three domestic car manufacturers whose cars fall under the program of renewing the fleet of medical transport in the country's hospitals. Last year, the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan approved a "Road Map" for the renewal of sanitary transport through the leasing financing mechanism "DBK-Leasing".

The main goal of the program is to preserve the health of Kazakhstanis, develop medicine, as well as the engineering industry, localize the domestic auto industry, and create jobs.
