On October 21, 2026, a plant producing aluminum and bimetallic heating radiators under the Norq brand was commissioned on the territory of the Saryarka SEZ in Karaganda Region with financial support from Industrial Development Fund JSC (IDF) and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC (QIC), both part of the Baiterek Holding structure.
In this investment project, IDF supported the purchase of modern automated equipment made in Switzerland, Italy and Türkiye that meets the highest international standards, while QIC provided equity financing.

The production capacity of the new enterprise, Silumin of Qazaqstan LLP, is 5 million radiator sections per year. The production process covers the full cycle of finished-product manufacturing at a single site: from processing aluminum scrap and dross into alloys to finished radiators in branded packaging.

The equipment also makes it possible to expand the product range to include designer radiators, consumer goods, solar panel components and products for mechanical engineering.

It should be emphasized that the project involves the processing and use of secondary raw materials in production and was implemented from the outset taking into account international environmental standards, within the framework of the ESG agenda, the development of the green economy and the Taza Qazaqstan concept.

The production is based on waste-free smelting of secondary raw materials: the plant processes 97% of the aluminum dross generated during smelting, and the enterprise plans to develop a system for collecting and processing dross, aluminum cans and other raw materials.

It should be noted that the products of the new plant are essential for housing construction and for the building of social, industrial and other facilities. It is well known that every apartment building, school, kindergarten and other building with central heating requires heating radiators.

The high pace of construction in Kazakhstan provides the enterprise with a stable sales market. In 2025 alone, more than 20 million square meters of housing were commissioned in the country, not counting buildings for other purposes.

Thanks to the opening of the new heating radiator plant with financial support from the Industrial Development Fund, 200 new jobs will be created, and the headcount is planned to grow to 250 employees in the future.
