Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov introduced the new manager, Nurlan Baybazarov, to the team of the National Managing Holding “Baiterek”.
Nurlan Baybazarov held responsible positions both in the civil service and in the quasi-public sector. In particular, he worked in the ministries of finance and national economy, the national companies Kazakhstan Temir Zholy and KazMunayGas, and the Industrial Development Fund. Since November last year, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Development Bank of Kazakhstan.
Alikhan Smailov recalled that in his Address to the people, the Head of State set the task of transformation and large-scale digitalization of the activities of the Baiterek holding.«As a result, bureaucratic barriers should be eliminated, the processing time for applications should be reduced, and the level of awareness of the business community about available support measures should be increased. The new leader needs to ensure the implementation of the plans,” the Prime Minister said.
