On December 8, 2025, 62 official vehicles were delivered to the Almaty Region Veterinary Department with financial support from Industrial Development Fund JSC and Zhasyl Damu JSC.
The department's vehicle fleet was replenished with domestically produced JAC T6 vehicles. By the end of the current year, with financial support from the Industrial Development Fund, the institution will receive 9 more similar vehicles.
The high-clearance JAC pickups will enable specialists to reach their destinations through the mountainous terrain characteristic of Almaty Region and transport equipment and preparations for animals. This specialized transport is necessary for veterinarians to move efficiently between districts and rural areas in order to carry out regulatory procedures and vaccinate livestock.
It should be noted that the significant increase in official vehicles for veterinarians will have a positive long-term effect on strengthening the region's food security, in terms of ensuring stable public access to quality meat and dairy products.
As is known, the veterinary service performs a vital function in preventing and averting various diseases among agricultural animals, and for effective work, specialists cannot do without appropriate transport to cover the many kilometers to remote settlements throughout the region.
Such a substantial replenishment and renewal of the veterinary service's vehicle fleet will become an important factor in improving the quality of these services and the mobility of specialists, considering that Almaty Region covers an area of more than 105 thousand square kilometers.
It should be noted that in total, with financial support from the Fund, regional Veterinary Departments across the country received 188 units of official specialized vehicles.
