On March 17, the Chairman of the Board of Baiterek NMH JSC Kanat Sharlapayev held a meeting with top management and heads of structural divisions of Industrial Development Fund JSC. During the meeting, the results of the Fund's work over the past year and plans for 2023 were discussed.
The Industry Development Fund showed good results over the past year: investments in the amount of 527 billion tenge were attracted, capitalization was carried out in the amount of 50 billion tenge, more than 200 leasing transactions were financed. These achievements have resulted in the issuance of 698 buses, 327 ambulances, 234 agricultural vehicles, 90 emergency vehicles and 85 special purpose vehicles.
In addition, programs for financing manufacturing projects for small, medium and large businesses, programs for preferential leasing of agricultural machinery and preferential car loans have been launched.
In turn, Kanat Sharlapaev gave a number of instructions to improve and automate internal business processes, which will ensure efficiency and transparency in project financing.
“Indeed, we need to change something. If we continue to do the same things, then these problems will repeat themselves over and over again. We fundamentally did not help anyone much. Seven hundred cars is a drop in the ocean on a national scale. Our task is to understand as quickly as possible what needs to be changed, how we can explain it to our audience, and only after that think about how to bring it to life. But now it's like a lottery. Who managed to press the button faster, he did. Of course, this is wrong and quite naturally causes discontent. I don't support the lottery idea. I support helping people who need it. There are families with disabled children, large families for whom it is a vital necessity to move around. Maybe we should look at them first? Don't run lotteries. The lottery is the answer to remove popular discontent. It does not solve anyone's problem except ours," the Head of the holding concluded.
Following the meeting, questions were asked by employees of the Fund's structural divisions, to which Kanat Sharlapaev answered and wished further fruitful work in developing and supporting the industrial potential of the country.
