At the KOSTANAY INVEST 2018 forum, Nurlan Baibazarov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "DBK-Leasing", spoke about the main tools of support for small and medium-sized businesses provided by "DBK-Leasing", the main terms and conditions of leasing project financing, as well as the experience of implementing projects in the Kostanai region and Kazakhstan as a whole.
Chairman of the Management Board of "DBK-Leasing" JSC (a subsidiary of the "Development Bank of Kazakhstan", part of the "Baiterek" holding company) Nurlan Baibazarov took part in the investment forum KOSTANAY INVEST 2018. The main purpose of the forum is to reveal investment opportunities and export potential of the region. During the forum, the participants discuss the improvement of investment attractiveness and competitiveness of the region, measures of state support of investment activities provided both at the central and local levels, as well as features of the regional system of investment attraction.
Within the framework of the forum the Chairman of "DBK-Leasing" Nurlan Baibazarov spoke at the round table "Investment potential of development of key industries of the region: niche projects, Industry 4.0". In particular, he spoke about the main instruments of support for small and medium-sized businesses provided by "DBK-Leasing", the main conditions of leasing project financing, as well as the experience of implementing projects in the Kostanai region and Kazakhstan in general.
"DBK-Leasing" is one of the key operators of fixed assets renewal within the framework of the state programs of industrial and innovative development, business support and development "Business Road Map 2020", infrastructural development "Nurly Zhol". It provides financial leasing services in priority sectors of the state economy, such as manufacturing industry, production and transport infrastructure, - said Mr. Baibazarov.
The speaker said that the following instruments of leasing financing are currently available:
- Leasing financing within the framework of the State program "Business Road Map 2020", with the rate of 5% per annum, for a period of up to 10 years, advance payment - not less than 15%, for the renewal of equipment and equipment for projects in priority sectors of the economy (the cost of the leased item - not less than 80 million tenge).
- Leasing financing under the program of support of domestic car manufacturers within the framework of the State program "Nurly Zhol", with the rate of 3% per annum, for the period from 3 to 5 years, advance payment - not less than 30%, for the purchase of special purpose equipment of domestic production.
- Leasing financing under the State Programme for Industrial and Innovative Development, with a rate of no more than 11% per annum, and an advance payment of no less than 15%, for the purchase of equipment and machinery (the value of the leased item is no less than 150 million tenge).
- Leasing financing under the Program of renewal of the fleet of buses, tractors and combines, with the rate of 7% per annum, for the period up to 7 years, advance payment - not less than 15%, for the purchase of buses, tractors and combines of domestic production.
According to the results of 2017, "DBK-Leasing" was the leading company in the Kazakhstan leasing market in terms of the volume of new business and leasing portfolio. The volume of the company's leasing portfolio exceeds 171.2 billion tenge. Assets amount to 279.2 billion tenge," said N. Baibazarov.
He also told the entrepreneurs about the advantages of leasing, including the possibility of renewing the fixed assets of enterprises without diverting significant amounts of funds from economic activities, the lack of the need to provide additional collateral with sufficient liquidity of the subject of leasing, tax and customs benefits for the import of goods, etc.
