Within the framework of the Complex Programme for the Development of Bus Transportation, developed by the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "DBK-Leasing" JSC has launched a Lease Financing Programme for the Renovation of the Bus Fleet.
One of the first participants in the Program was the "Atyrau-Avtopark" LLP, which, with the support of "DBK-Leasing" (a subsidiary of the "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC is part of the "Baiterek" National Holding Company), has already delivered 15 new buses from the domestic manufacturer "Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan" LLP, and 85 more buses will be delivered by the end of the first quarter of 2019.
Leasing financing under the Program is provided under the following conditions: interest rate - 7% per annum, for a period of 7 years, with an initial contribution of 15%.
The program is designed for a period of 15 years, taking into account the lease financing on a revolving-back basis. All regions of the country, including private and municipal bus fleets, private carriers, tourist companies and others can take part in the Bus Renovation Program. Within the framework of the Program it is possible to purchase domestically produced buses Hyundai Trans Auto, Saryarka Avtoprom, Daewoo Bus Kazakhstan, SemAZ.
Along with preferential leasing financing of bus fleet renewal, the Comprehensive Program for the development of bus transportation provides for systemic measures to improve bus transportation, such as: development of electronic passenger ticketing systems, improvement of tariff setting methods, creation of a network of branded regional centers for maintenance and repair of domestically produced buses."DBK-Leasing" JSC started implementation of the Bus Fleet Renovation Programme
