As part of the tasks set by the Head of State and the Government to minimize the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and improve the quality of medical services to the population by emergency response services, as well as making targeted decisions to simplify and ease business conditions during the pandemic, DBK-Leasing achieved the following results in the reporting period. 807 ambulances were financed for 18 hospitals in the following regions: Akmola, Aktobe, Almaty, Atyrau, East Kazakhstan region (Ust-Kamenogorsk, Semey), Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan region, Karaganda, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, Pavlodar, North Kazakhstan region, Turkestan , Nur-Sultan. For COVID-19 testing, the purchase of 8 units of mobile laboratory complexes, as well as 2 units of mobile medical complexes, was financed. The phased delivery of the above medical equipment will be completed in October of this year. In addition, work is underway with state and local executive bodies to purchase an additional 360 units of sanitary transport. During the state of emergency, DBK-Leasing was in the format of continuous remote work and took specific measures to stabilize the financial condition of its clients and finance projects. DBK-Leasing has taken a number of anti-crisis measures to restructure projects with deferred payments of up to 3 months or more, the rate for the purchase of agricultural machinery has been reduced from 7% to 6%, the advance payment has been reduced to 0%, the list of documents has been reduced, and penalties for late payments have been cancelled. In the first half of 2020, 148 buses for urban passenger transportation, 106 units of tractors and combines were updated, funding was opened for upgrading 20 units of fire equipment, and funding was opened for upgrading 186 units of police cars. It should be noted that according to the State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020 - 2025, financing is provided at 7% per annum and all purchased equipment is of domestic production. Work continued to renew the wagon fleet, within the framework of which 50 passenger and 130 freight cars were updated, and 140 special domestically produced vehicles were financed. During the reporting period, projects in the manufacturing industry were financed, such as a plant for the production of power transformers in Shymkent, the construction of a plant for energy-efficient architectural facades, the acquisition of equipment for the production of solid hydrogenated fats, the acquisition of production equipment for an ice cream plant in the village. Beiserke, Production of plastic pipelines from biaxially oriented PVC of a new generation for water supply, Modernization of the transformer plant in Kentau, etc., in the field of renewable energy sources, the project for the construction of the wind power plant “Astana Expo-2017” with a capacity of 100 MW for converting wind energy was financed (Second start-up complex at 50 MW). In general, in the first half of 2020, projects worth 64.8 billion tenge were financed, the leasing portfolio amounted to 405.4 billion tenge. Achievement of target indicators of financial stability and net profit is ensured. It should be noted that during the reporting period, dividends were paid to the Sole Shareholder for 2019 in the amount of 1,055 million tenge, which is 30% of net profit.
