Industrial Development Fund JSC, together with the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, continues to work on updating the public transport autopark in all regions of the country.
Thus, the Industrial Development Fund, within the framework of the Leasing Financing Program for updating the bus autopark, financed the purchase of 4,333 passenger buses in all regions of the country, of which 130 are electric, 1,737 are gas, and 2,466 are diesel.
The new buses are manufactured in accordance with international environmental standards and are equipped with everything necessary for the comfortable and safe transportation of passengers. Including air conditioners, fire extinguishers, CCTV cameras, video recording systems, mechanical ramps for people with disabilities.
Also, the buses are adapted to the climatic conditions of the country. For example, on vehicles intended for northern regions, additional stoves are installed in the cabins and cabin air hoods.
It is planned that next year the Ministry of Transport of Kazakhstan, together with the Fund, will continue to work to update and replenish the country’s autopark with new domestic buses.
This year, the bus autopark has been updated in the following cities and regions:
● Almaty – 17 buses;
● Astana – 259 buses;
● Shymkent – 25 buses;
● Karaganda region – 102 buses;
● Aktobe region – 109 buses;
● Pavlodar region – 183 buses;
● East Kazakhstan region – 44 buses;
● Akmola region – 3 buses;
● Almaty region – 36 buses;
● Atyrau region – 62 buses;
● Zhetisu region – 2 buses;
● West Kazakhstan region – 29 buses;
● Kostanay region – 57 buses;
● Kyzylorda region – 130 buses;
● Mangistau region - 52 buses;
● North Kazakhstan region – 33 buses;
● Turkestan region – 89 buses;
● Abay region – 3 buses.
It should be noted that the leasing financing program for updating the bus autopark allows you to purchase domestically produced public transport on preferential terms within the framework of the Concept for the Development of the Manufacturing Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023–2029.
Basic financing conditions for updating the bus autopark in cities:
- leasing financing period – up to 7 years;
- down payment (advance payment) for leasing – from 15%;
- interest rate - 7% per year.

- leasing financing period is up to 7 years;
- down payment (advance payment) for leasing – from 0%;
- remuneration rate – 0.01%.
