With the support of the Industrial Development Fund JSC, 14 vehicles for transporting people with limited opportunities were transferred to the Innovative Research and Production Center for Disability Technology Research LLP.
These cars will patrol around Astana and provide Invataxi services. More than a thousand people use the services of Invataxi every month, and the demand for cars is quite high.
The specialized JAC model cars purchased under the Fund's financing program are compact in size, adapted for wheelchair transportation, and have ramps and other amenities for passengers with disabilities.
Moreover, the services of Invataxi can be used by people with disabilities of the first group, who have difficulties in movement, who are entitled to an individual assistant and/or a wheelchair. Applications for Invataxi services are accepted one day before the planned trip. Cars carry passengers around the clock, including weekends and holidays.
The purchase of comfortable cars for the transportation of people with limited opportunities will ensure the availability of transport services in the city for socially vulnerable segments of the population.
