JSC "IDF" launches a Program for financing manufacturing industry projects for small and medium-sized businesses

JSC Industrial Development Fund, with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is launching a Program for financing manufacturing industry projects for small and medium-sized businesses (hereinafter referred to as the Program).

The program is aimed at implementing investment projects by providing affordable financing for SMEs within the framework of the Concept of Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2020-2025.

The total amount of funding under the Program is 50 billion tenge.

Basic conditions of the Program:

• Financing term – up to 10 years;
• Interest rate – 3% per annum;
• Amount of financing – from 80 million to 3 billion tenge;
• The project initiator’s own participation is at least 15% of the project cost;
• Domestic manufacturing enterprises will be offered financing through leasing and lending instruments, and the loan amount should not exceed the leasing amount.

The main focus when considering projects will be on import substitution and export orientation, that is, on supporting enterprises whose products will satisfy the demand of the domestic market and will increase the country’s export potential.

The implementation of the Program for Financing Manufacturing Industry Projects will make it possible to renew the fixed assets of small and medium-sized enterprises in the manufacturing industry, create new and retain existing jobs, and also provide tax revenues to the budget.
