The release of the first products of the joint venture of Tatneft and AllurTyres took place in the city of Saran, Karaganda region, with the participation of First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and General Director of Tatneft Company Nail Maganov.
The new plant was built in record time - 16 months. The total investment in the project is more than 171 billion tenge. The enterprise has a production capacity of 3.5 million multi-purpose tires annually, employing more than 1,100 specialists. The training of Kazakhstani engineers takes place at tire enterprises in Nizhnekamsk.
"This production is important both for the development of our industry and is a good example for the development of single-industry towns. After all, over a thousand residents of Saran will be employed in this production. It should be noted that this is the first domestic tire production enterprise that will cover the needs of both the automotive industry, and motorists," Sklyar said.
KamaTyresKZ will increase the level of localization of automotive production in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The products will be sent to the primary assembly of cars, as well as to the secondary market and export. It should be noted that this is the only plant in Kazakhstan for the production of tires, previously similar products were imported.
The plant will reach its design capacity in 2024. At the second stage, it is planned to manufacture rubber products, at the third - tires for agricultural machinery.
"This is only the first stage of the project, in which we already have the first labor victories. We plan to open a plant for engineering products and large tires. In general, all this became possible thanks to the unique investment climate of Kazakhstan, the full support of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev," Rustam Minnikhanov said.
The production cycle of the Saransk plant includes 126 units of the main technological and 528 auxiliary equipment of leading industry manufacturers.
Unique technologies and equipment in production are characterized by a high level of automation, energy efficiency and minimal environmental impact. All technological processes are implemented at the plant in a single sequential scheme - from the preparation of raw materials, the preparation of rubber compounds, harvesting, raw tire assembly to vulcanization and quality inspection.
Specialists who contributed to the implementation of the joint venture in Kazakhstan were awarded certificates of honor by Tatneft General Director Nail Maganov and Andrey Lavrentyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Allur.
"I would like to thank the entire large and friendly project team from Kazakhstan and Tatarstan - builders, installers, commissioners, and operation specialists. This is our common success," Nail Maganov stressed.
Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpaev expressed confidence that the plant will become a new growth point for auxiliary production around the new industrial giant, the serial launch of which will take place next year.
