JSC "Industrial Development Fund" was established on behalf of the head of state on September 22, 2020 to support domestic producers and implement projects in the manufacturing industry.
JSC Industrial Development Fund is one of the key operators of state and government programs. Among them are the State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development and the State Program for Infrastructure Development "Nurly Zhol".
In addition, the Fund provides medium- and long-term financial leasing services in priority sectors of the economy for the state: manufacturing industry, production and transport infrastructure.
Below are some of the projects funded by the Industrial Development Fund.
KAZAKHSTAN WINDOWS:
PLANT OF LIGHT-TRANSPARENT STRUCTURES
The plant of the Combine of translucent structures, specializing in the production of energy-efficient facades, windows, doors, stained-glass windows, was put into operation.
Modern equipment for the plant was purchased on lease through the Industry Development Fund. Automated devices were purchased in different countries of the world - in Russia, Italy, Estonia and Turkey.
After the purchase of equipment for the plant, the production of domestic products for the construction and repair of houses and other real estate began on the premises of the enterprise.
Double-glazed windows used for windows and doors, translucent PVC structures, aluminum profiles and glass of the Plant (formerly KSM Technovid LLP) are now sold in Kazakhstan.
However, this is not the limit - the plant's capacity is 475 thousand square meters of energy-saving PVC and aluminum profile structures per year. In addition, thanks to the production, it was possible to provide jobs for 114 people - that is how many jobs were created at the Translucent Structures Plant.
SOY PROTEIN FROM AGRITECH LLP
An enterprise for the production of non-genetically modified soy isolated protein has also been launched in Kazakhstan.
AGRITECH LLP plans to produce about 2500 tons of the main product - soy protein, as well as related products:
- Soy fiber - about 3,800 tons per year
- Soy molasses - about 2000 tons per year
Soy protein isolate (SPI, or isolated soy protein) is a dry powder product, with a protein content of 90-95% and almost no carbohydrates and fats, which was produced from soy white petal (edible soybean meal).
The manufactured products will be exported to Israel, and are also in demand in the domestic market. More than 50 employees are involved in the production, for whom new jobs have been created.
LOCALIZATION CENTER FOR THE PRODUCTION OF AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT
In order to increase the level of localization of production and development of related industries in the field of mechanical engineering on the basis of AgromashHolding KZ, this year the Localization Center for the production of agricultural machinery components was launched.
The total area of production facilities is more than 36 thousand square meters: universal workshops with high-performance modern machines and technological automated lines; a hostel, office space and a training center: all this provides a symbiosis of comfortable conditions for factory workers and the promotion of domestic production to a whole new level. After all, this is the first real project to increase the localization of production in Kazakhstan.
The company purchased a wide range of modern equipment, these are about 55 units of new machines and production lines, which will increase both the capacity, quality and volume of manufactured components for tractors, combines, seeders, harvesters and other things. These are powder coating line, laser cutting, rebar bending machine, hydraulic press brake tandem, direct hydraulic guillotine shear, milling machining center and much more. Modern equipment was purchased with the assistance of the Industry Development Fund.
The production capacity of the Localization Center is one thousand combines, three thousand tractors, one thousand seeders and about ten thousand units of various components per year.
Today, the Localization Center employs about 500 people, the total capacity of jobs in the center is up to 1,500 thousand people, including related industries.
BUSES FOR KAZAKHSTANI: QAZTEHNA
One of the socially important projects is the QazTehna plant, which, in cooperation with Yutong, began to produce buses for Kazakhstan. The project was implemented with the participation of JSC "Industrial Development Fund" of Kazakhstan within the framework of the State Program for Industrial and Innovative Development. The plant is located in the city of Saran, Karaganda region and meets all quality standards.
Modern and environmentally friendly production produces 5-12-meter buses designed both for city routes and for transporting school students, as well as quarry, construction and road equipment, which started in the summer of 2021.
Having started cooperation in 2020 with Yutong, this summer the plant produced and delivered the first buses to the North Kazakhstan and Karaganda regions.
Today, the production capacity is 3,000 buses per year, in 2021 about 160 buses have already been produced. These are safe, comfortable and economical, and most importantly, environmentally friendly cars running on diesel and gas of Euro-5 class, as well as electric buses that do not have any emissions.
The plant itself is equipped with high-tech equipment for welding and painting. Here, buses and parts for them are assembled and painted, after which the buses undergo control and adjustment of technical elements and transport tightness.
In the future, the company will increase localization and the share of local content in the transport produced by the plant. So, it is planned to use batteries, glass, seats, tires and linoleum of local production.
In addition, the plant will assemble not only buses, but also construction, road and quarry equipment. The plant created 400 new jobs.
Kazakh entrepreneurs can develop production, purchase new equipment, and launch their products on the market thanks to the support of the Industrial Development Fund and state programs. You can learn more about the programs, the required package of documents and other conditions on the website.
