As reported by I. O. Chairman of the Board of the holding, as part of state support for projects in the manufacturing industry, the Baiterek group of companies, based on the results of eight months of 2023, financed 34 projects totaling 468.4 billion tenge. These are mechanical engineering, construction, chemical, food, agricultural and light industries.
"In the context of the holding’s subsidiaries, 17 projects worth 358 billion tenge were financed through the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and 16 projects worth 109.4 billion tenge through the Industrial Development Fund. Also, through the Agrarian Credit Corporation (ACC), one project worth 97 million tenge was financed from its own funds. The allocated QIC funds are being disbursed".

In total, he said, the holding attracted 621.5 billion tenge this year as state support funds. In particular, through the Development Bank of Kazakhstan - 103.8 billion tenge, the Industrial Development Fund - 482.2 billion tenge and Qazaqstan Investment Corporation - 35 billion tenge.
At the same time. O. Chairman of the Board of the Holding recalled that the head of state in his message to the people of Kazakhstan “The Economic Course of a Fair Kazakhstan” instructed to place the main emphasis on the accelerated development of the manufacturing sector. In this regard, Baiterek, together with its subsidiaries, will continue to provide financial support to manufacturing industry projects.
"Thus, currently, the DBK has approved for financing 20 projects worth 476 billion tenge, the Federal Investment Fund has approved 14 projects worth 160.9 billion tenge, the ACC has approved two projects worth 2.7 billion tenge, and the QIC has approved – three projects for 8 billion tenge".

For example, among the projects, the car production of Astana Motors Manufacturing Kazakhstan LLP in Almaty was financed for 91 billion tenge, the production of sodium cyanide by Talas Investment Company LLP for 17 billion tenge, the processing project of Green Works LLP for 2.5 billion tenge dairy products and 4.9 billion tenge - hot galvanizing plant "Kazakhstan Hot Galvanizing Plant" LLP in Saran (Karaganda region).
In addition, the holding’s subsidiaries have several dozen projects at various stages of consideration. The Development Bank of Kazakhstan has 42 projects with a total financing amount of 1.5 trillion tenge, the Industrial Development Fund has 37 projects with a total financing amount of 266.2 billion tenge, and the Qazaqstan Investment Corporation has 16 projects with a total amount of 41.4 billion tenge..
"Thus, taking into account the task set in terms of development of the manufacturing industry, the holding faces the important task of becoming a proactive financial operator implementing projects in new growth points".

At the same time, in order to more fully cover the Industrial Development Fund with financial instruments, work is now underway to open its representative office in four regions - Atyrau, Shymkent, Semey and Kostanay.
