With the support of the Industrial Development Fund, a project was implemented to build a factory to establish a full production cycle of Hyundai Korean passenger cars. This important project is aimed at implementing high-tech production in the non-primary sector of the economy.
The plant has an area of 34,000 square meters. Modern equipment from Korea provides a production capacity of 8,700 units per year. It meets all international standards, including environmental ones that use imported equipment installed by South Korean engineers.
The Industry Development Fund provided support by helping to purchase equipment for various workshops, including a body shop, a paint shop, an assembly shop, a DKD large-unit assembly shop, as well as a welding conductor. The company produces seven models: three sedans (Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Elantra and Hyundai Sonata) and four crossovers (Hyundai Creta, Hyundai Tucson, Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai Palisade).
The company employs around 700 people and the increase in production capacity will create new jobs in the future. In addition, favorable conditions for preferential loans at 4% and trade-in system have been made available to the residents.
Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan has become a key car manufacturer in the region, providing high-tech production for the domestic market and exports to the CIS countries. The project was implemented within the framework of the state program "Business Roadmap 2025", which emphasizes the strategic importance and contribution of the company to the development of the national economy.
The attention and support of the Industrial Development Fund allowed Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan to become not only an engine of economic growth and social stability in the region, but also a symbol of technological progress.
