With the support of the Industrial Development Fund, a project has been implemented in the industrial zone of Aktobe to increase production capacities at the Zerde-Ceramics LLP plant for the production of porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles.
Zerde Ceramics is an important link in the development of the country's ceramic industry, due to the fact that it is the first and only enterprise in Kazakhstan specializing in the production of porcelain stoneware and ceramic tiles.
Ceramic granite is a modern artificial material produced in the form of slabs. Its production is a high-tech process consisting of four stages: kneading, pressing, firing and surface treatment.
For the production of products, the plant uses high-quality raw materials - refractory clays, the purest quartz sand, feldspar and natural pigments.
The Zerde Ceramics plant has special processing lines and storage sites that allow timely and round-the-clock production of raw materials with the necessary indicators, ensuring minimum humidity.
The production capacity of the plant is 5 million square meters of products per year, and its uniqueness lies in the complete automation of the production process.
Investments of Industrial Development Fund JSC within the framework of the project were aimed at purchasing innovative and high-tech equipment manufactured by Italian company SACMI.
The products of the Zerde Ceramics plant comply with European quality standards and are exported to Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
The porcelain stoneware and ceramic plates produced at the enterprise fully meet the demand of the western regions of Kazakhstan. The share of using local raw materials in the production process reaches 70%.
The Industrial Development Fund makes a significant contribution to the development of the country's manufacturing industry, providing support to domestic enterprises whose products not only cover the needs of the domestic market, but also contribute to increasing the country's export potential.
The implementation of the project to increase the production capacity of the Zerde-Ceramics plant has created more than 180 new jobs and provided tax revenues to the country's budget.
