In preparation for the upcoming holiday Nauryz, a special ceremony was held where the regional akim Nurlybek Nalibaev handed over the keys to new firefighting vehicles to the emergency department personnel, along with recognition for their hard work. The chairman of the Board of JSC “Industrial Development Fund” Rinat Gapparov also took part in the solemn event.
The head of the region congratulated the gathered people on the holiday and noted that emergency prevention and saving people's lives are a high and responsible mission.
“I sincerely congratulate all on the upcoming holiday Nauryz and the beginning of the year! Last year, targeted actions were taken in the Kyzylorda region, leading to rapid growth in our region. There is an increase in all indicators of the economy. Kyzylorda region was ranked first among regions in terms of socio-economic development
indicators for January-February. The budget of the region for the current year was approved in the amount of 650 KZT billion. These funds were used primarily to address pressing issues and improve the quality of life of the population. Today we are presenting 14 units of firefighting equipment worth KZT 1 billion 900 million allocated from the regional budget and 3 units of firefighting equipment worth KZT 266 million allocated from the republican budget. This is a great support for the partners of the emergency sector. On behalf of the people, I thank the workers of the region’s rescue industry. We wish that there would be no emergency or disaster in our country, in our homeland,” said Nurlybek Nalibaev.
An honorary veteran of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Citizen of the Kyzylorda Region, Kurganbek Kairullaev, spoke at the meeting and wished his colleagues good luck.
Last year, emphasis was given to strengthening the material and technical base in all spheres of the region.300 buses were provided for the cardinal decision of a public transport problem. Also 30 buses were given to the students, 70 ambulances for the healthcare, 95 pieces of equipment for foresters, 30 for veterinary specialists,92 service vehicles for law enforcement agencies. 42 pieces of machinery were also transferred to the public utilities sector.
The winners of the regional competition “Exemplary Settlement” were given 29 units of modern special equipment necessary for daily use. According to the region's residents' requests, 200 ambulances will be purchased for medical organizations in all settlements this year.
In 2022, with funds from the regional budget in the amount of KZT 54.3 million, a prefabricated modular rescue station was purchased and installed in the village of Kamystybas, Aral region. More than KZT 40 million were spent on special devices last year, including 10 thermal imagers, 15 alarms, 4 compressors, and 5 motor pumps. In the future, it is planned to build a fire station for 4 directions on the left bank, a quick-assembled fire station for 2 directions in the village of Saksaul, Aral region.It should be noted that the fire engines were purchased through the “Industrial Development Fund” JSC's leasing program.
