50 Special-Purpose Vehicles for Municipal Waste Collection Delivered in Almaty with the Support of Industrial Development Fund JSC and Zhasyl Damu JSC

04.07.2025

On July 4, 2025, in Almaty, special-purpose vehicles for the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste were handed over to AQ Tartip LLP. The project was supported by Industrial Development Fund JSC and Zhasyl Damu JSC. The leasing financing is structured for 7 years and offered at a preferential interest rate of 3% per annum.

The ceremony was attended by Azat Abaidildin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC; Yerlan Nysanbayev, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Darhan Satybaldy, Akim of Almaty city; and the management of Zhasyl Damu JSC.

The domestically produced JAC N200 vehicles are fully equipped with all necessary equipment. It should be noted that in early 2025, AQ Tartip had already acquired three special-purpose vehicles for waste removal with the financial support of Industrial Development Fund JSC.

— The Fund continues its systematic and consistent efforts to renew the fleet of high-tech vehicles for the collection and transportation of municipal solid waste throughout the country. The vehicles delivered today will significantly meet the needs of Almaty for such equipment. As we know, waste management is a pressing issue in every locality, particularly in large cities. With growing volumes of waste, maintaining clean urban environments becomes a key factor in environmental protection. Properly and professionally organized waste collection is crucial. Today, we are witnessing how the country’s largest metropolis is receiving new state-of-the-art equipment that will work daily to serve the city and make Almaty cleaner and more beautiful, — stated Azat Abaidildin, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC.

AQ Tartip LLP currently operates about 230 units of special-purpose vehicles. The addition of 50 new vehicles will significantly upgrade and expand the company’s fleet. Furthermore, this expansion will create 50 new jobs. The company has been involved in this activity for over 25 years and is the largest waste management operator in Almaty. It serves nearly 1 million subscribers and more than 14,000 legal entities.

Since 2024, within the framework of Kazakhstan’s transition to a green economy, Industrial Development Fund JSC, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Zhasyl Damu JSC have been implementing a joint program to support enterprises involved in the sorting, processing, and disposal of municipal solid waste. The program aims to strengthen the country’s ecological balance.
