A new facility for wool processing and the production of nonwoven materials has been commissioned in the city of Aktobe with the financial support of Industrial Development Fund JSC. The leasing term is 10 years.
As part of the implementation of this investment project, the Fund provided comprehensive support in financing the capital construction of the production building and the acquisition of modern, high-tech equipment that meets high international standards in this industry.
The commissioning of the new KazFeltec LLP plant represents an important stage in the development of the processing of animal-based fibers, particularly sheep wool. The enterprise will produce thermal insulation materials from this environmentally friendly raw material. It should be noted that this type of product is widely used on an industrial scale in the construction sector, including for insulating walls, roofs, floors, and joints in residential buildings.
Thermal insulation materials made from natural sheep wool can effectively protect premises from external moisture, have high durability, resistance to mold, and provide good sound insulation.
The plant’s design production capacity exceeds 2,112 tons of products per year. The company intends to supply finished products to all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as export to neighboring countries.
The launch of the new wool-processing and nonwoven materials production facility KazFeltec LLP with the financial support of Industrial Development Fund JSC will create 40 new jobs after reaching design capacity and increase tax revenues to the state budget.
