On April 18, 2025, Industrial Development Fund JSC, Zhasyl Damu JSC, and AQ Tartip LLP signed an agreement for the purchase of 50 specialized vehicles for the collection and removal of solid household waste in Almaty. The leasing arrangement is set for a period of seven years and includes a preferential annual interest rate of 3%.
The domestically manufactured JAC N200 vehicles will be fully equipped with all the necessary tools and machinery. Notably, earlier in 2025, with financial support from Industrial Development Fund JSC, AQ Tartip had already acquired three specialized vehicles for waste collection.
Currently, the company operates a fleet of around 200 specialized vehicles. The addition of 50 new units will significantly enhance and modernize the company's vehicle fleet. Delivery of the new equipment is scheduled to be completed within the current year.
AQ Tartip LLP, which employs 889 staff, has been operating in this field for 25 years and is currently the largest solid waste management company in Almaty. The company provides services to nearly 1 million residential customers and more than 14,000 legal entities.
Municipal waste collection remains a critical challenge for any community, particularly in major urban centers. One of the key priorities in today’s world is the protection of the environment. As waste volumes continue to grow, maintaining urban cleanliness becomes a vital factor in achieving environmental sustainability. In this context, the efficient and professional organization of waste collection and removal services is of paramount importance.
Since 2024, as part of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Concept for Transition to a Green Economy, Industrial Development Fund JSC, together with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Zhasyl Damu JSC, has been implementing a program to support enterprises engaged in the sorting, processing, and disposal of solid household waste. This initiative is aimed at preserving and strengthening the country’s environmental balance.
