On October 7-9, 2025, the 66th International Engineering Fair was held in Brno (Czech Republic), dedicated to the development of the transport and logistics industry on a global scale.
As part of the Kazakh delegation, the event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC Azat Abaydildin, Chairman of the Committee for Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan Azamat Panbayev, representatives of relevant government bodies, the leadership of the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, and heads of industrial enterprises of the republic.
The International Engineering Fair brought together more than 1,300 leading industry companies from 42 countries, including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, China, Japan, and others.
The main topics of the exhibition included the robotization and digitalization of heavy industry through the application of artificial intelligence. Participants noted that automated solutions are aimed at identifying new directions for further industry development.
Within the framework of the International Engineering Fair, a business forum dedicated to the rapidly developing industrial potential of Central Asia was held, bringing together delegations from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.
The business forum gathered representatives of government bodies, development institutions, industry associations, and business communities of the Central Asian region.
The event served as a dialogue platform for exchanging experience, discussing issues of international industrial cooperation, and exploring new opportunities for strengthening international collaboration.
Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC Azat Abaydildin informed the participants of the business forum about the economic potential of Kazakhstan, the wide opportunities available to foreign partners within the favorable investment climate of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and presented the Fund’s activities aimed at the comprehensive development of the country’s industrial sector.
— At present, international cooperation has acquired special significance in the context of modern global realities. I am convinced that such dialogue platforms are very important for establishing mutually beneficial partnerships and consolidating joint efforts to strengthen the real economies of Central Asian countries. During the business forum, the speaker provided comprehensive answers to the questions raised by the participants. In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC Azat Abaydildin held preliminary business negotiations with representatives of the Czech aircraft manufacturing company Aircraft Industries regarding potential financing by the Fund for the supply of multifunctional L-410 turboprop aircraft to Kazakhstan for local air routes.
In addition, on the sidelines of the forum, working meetings were held with interested parties to discuss cooperation aimed at attracting investments into the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan through the instruments and programs of Industrial Development Fund JSC.
