An extended meeting of the Leasing Committee under the Association of Financiers of Kazakhstan (AFK) was held, bringing together representatives from 14 of the most active leasing companies on the AFK platform.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the Leasing Committee's activities, discussed trends in leasing development, and analyzed leasing activity statistics.

The meeting was opened by Aigul Orazbayevna Tattybayeva, Chairman of the Leasing Committee under the AFK and Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Halyk-Leasing JSC. In her opening remarks, she emphasized the committee's critical role in consolidating the leasing services market.

Zhanar Shatyrkhanovna Ibrasheva, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC (IDF), presented a report highlighting the IDF's leading role in fostering leasing services. She detailed the IDF's activities in financing socially significant projects and participated in a discussion on funding private leasing companies.

The meeting also explored international practices. Evgeny Markovich Tsarev, Director of the Leasing Union NP and Deputy Chairman of the Subcommittee on Leasing of the CCI of the Russian Federation, delivered a presentation on the digitalization of leasing processes in Russia.

Additionally, participants engaged in discussions on developing the leasing industry and promoting leasing services for individuals.

For reference: The Leasing Committee under the AFK was established in 2021 at the initiative of leasing companies that are members of the AFK. Its objectives include promoting and popularizing leasing, coordinating the activities and interests of leasing companies, facilitating collaboration between government institutions and market participants, and fostering experience exchange with foreign leasing companies and associations. The committee comprises nine leading leasing companies.
