Industrial Development Fund JSC continues its cooperation with the Islamic Development Bank

From October 22 to 24, 2025, a working visit of the delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ankara (Republic of Türkiye) took place under the coordination of the Islamic Development Bank. The visit was dedicated to expanding cooperation in the development of special economic and industrial zones.


The Kazakh delegation, headed by the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, included Deputy Chairwoman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC Zhanar Ibrasheva, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of the Fund Maksim Priymakov, Deputy Director of the Strategy and Planning Department of the Fund Damir Zhanuzakov, as well as representatives of relevant government agencies, financial development institutions, and regional industry departments.


As part of the visit, the Kazakh delegation held meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Türkiye, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Organization (KOSGEB), ILBank, and the Head of the Islamic Development Bank office in Ankara.

During these meetings, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for cooperation in the creation and modernization of special economic and industrial zones, small industrial sites, as well as related infrastructure.


Representatives of Industrial Development Fund JSC presented the activities of the development institution aimed at increasing the localization of production within the favorable investment climate of Kazakhstan, as well as the financial instruments and projects implemented with the Fund’s support.


In addition, as part of the visit, the Kazakh delegation visited the Başkent Industrial Zone in Ankara, where they studied the best Turkish practices in the management and development of industrial zones.

Following the visit, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation, exchange experience, and implement joint projects aimed at enhancing investment attractiveness and ensuring the sustainable development of industrial infrastructure.
