An International Business Forum took place in Turkestan, highlighting the region’s economic potential and investment opportunities, and discussing prospects for its comprehensive future development.
The event was attended by the Akim of Turkestan Region, Nuralkhan Kusherov; Managing Director of Industrial Development Fund JSC, Timur Tyulebekov; President of the international company UBC Group, Igor Gumenny; Chairman of the Board of Turkestan Invest, Umirzak Yusupov; along with domestic manufacturers and representatives of major enterprises from China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Georgia.
A vivid confirmation of the favorable investment climate in the Turkestan Region was the launch of a new plant for the production of refrigeration equipment for storing beverages and food, built by the international company UBC Group. The facility is located in the Sauran District of Turkestan Region, within a small industrial park.
Timur Tyulebekov, Managing Director of Industrial Development Fund JSC, gave a detailed overview to UBC Group President Igor Gumenny and other forum delegates on the institution’s efforts toward the integrated development of industrial and infrastructure clusters in Kazakhstan, as well as on the financing mechanisms and programs available.
Preliminary negotiations were held between Industrial Development Fund JSC and UBC Group regarding potential cooperation to increase the plant’s production capacity.
UBC Group’s management plans to implement a project to expand the production of industrial refrigeration units with the financial support of Industrial Development Fund JSC. This initiative is expected to boost output, create new jobs, and increase tax revenues for the national budget.
