Mirror production plant launched in Kyzylorda with financial support from Industrial Development Fund JSC

21.01.2026

The first conveyor production of mirror products in Kazakhstan has been launched in the Industrial Zone of Kyzylorda with financial support from Industrial Development Fund JSC. In this investment project, the Fund financed the capital construction of the AynaGlass LLP factory building and the purchase of necessary modern equipment. The financial leasing term is 8 years.

It should be noted that the new production facility is high-tech, utilizing automated equipment that meets the highest international standards in this industry. The equipment was purchased from a factory located in China, which is a world leader in the production of robotic devices for mirror manufacturing.

The project to create a domestic mirror production enterprise was implemented at a rapid pace, practically within 1 year.

The production capacity of the enterprise is 720,000 square meters of mirror products per year with the creation of 55 new jobs.

The 186-meter-long conveyor belt at this factory is fully automated. The technological process begins with glass feeding. After washing, cleaning and drying, the sheets are fed into vacuum chambers where a reflective layer is applied by spraying. Then the workpiece goes to furnace chambers, after which a two-layer paint is applied - protective enamel and coating. Before the finished product leaves the conveyor belt, before packaging, a robot applies to each mirror the date, time, place of manufacture and other necessary marking information.

The location of the new factory is due to the fact that Kyzylorda region holds a leading position in the republic in reserves of high-quality quartz sand, which is the main raw material used in the production of glass products. Its reserves in the region exceed 64 million tons, and the silicon dioxide content in it reaches more than 99 percent, making the material ideal for glass production. In addition, deposits of related components - limestone and dolomite - have been developed in the region.

The factory plans to supply its products both to the domestic market and export to neighboring countries.

In the prospective future, the next stage of further project development is the launch of a technological line for the production of tempered large-format architectural glass Jumbo, used in modern construction for glazing facades and walls of buildings.
