A Kazakhstani delegation consisting of senior officials from relevant government bodies and financial institutions visited the headquarters of the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).
The visit, taking place from September 8 to 11, includes Deputy Chair of the Management Board of the Industrial Development Fund JSC, Zhanar Ibrasheva, and Deputy Chair of the Fund, Zulfiya Zeynesheva. The agenda focuses on discussions around international financial issues, global investment strategies, and identifying additional opportunities amid the transformation of the global economy.
During the visit, the members of the Kazakhstani delegation held negotiations with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank. The parties reviewed key areas of bilateral cooperation, including the implementation of investment projects in various sectors of the economy.
Representatives of the Industrial Development Fund JSC, Zhanar Ibrasheva and Zulfiya Zeynesheva, presented information about the Fund’s activities, financing instruments, and projects being implemented with the support of the Fund.
Particular attention during the meeting was paid to attracting long-term and sustainable investments into the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The parties also discussed potential areas of cooperation in supporting Kazakhstan’s industrial and infrastructure development.
As a result of the visit, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue and work out specific mechanisms for cooperation.
