Representatives of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of NUH Baiterek JSC, hereinafter - DBK, Bank) and Industrial Development Fund JSC (hereinafter - IDF) visited Karaganda region. During the trip, the heads of the DBK Marat Elibaev and IDF Rinat Gapparov got acquainted with the work of joint projects and met with the akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekbaev.
Thus, within the framework of the visit, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of investment projects in the region and visited "Qaragandy Power Silicon" factory for the production of ferrosilicon, "QazTehna" factory for the production of passenger buses and special equipment, "KamaTyresKZ" factory for the production of automotive tires and "Silk Road Electronics" factory for the production of household appliances. Visits to enterprises allowed the parties to familiarize themselves with the production processes and the progress of the projects.
"The Development Bank attaches great importance to supporting investment projects in the regions, since this contributes to economic growth and improves the quality of life of citizens. The Karaganda region is historically an industrialized region, and DBK intends to continue cooperation with the initiators of projects in this area, which is part of a common strategy to promote the sustainable development of all regions of Kazakhstan," said Marat Elibaev, Chairman of the Board of DBK.
The Chairman of the Board of IDF Rinat Gapparov also noted: "The Industrial Development Fund supports projects aimed at import substitution and those that high export potential, thereby contributing to the development of the industrial potential of the regions. Project support helps to create new job positions, develop the technological base and increase the competitiveness of domestic goods in the world market."
The working trip was another step towards strengthening partnerships with local executive authorities, the purpose of which is to unite efforts in the development of infrastructure and socially significant projects throughout the country.
