Bal Textile LLP, located within the "Ontustik" Special Economic Zone in Shymkent, has acquired cutting-edge carpet weaving equipment with financial support from Industrial Development Fund JSC. The lease term under the financial agreement is 10 years.
The high-tech equipment, manufactured in Belgium and delivered to the local factory, has an annual production capacity of 175,200 square meters of carpet. This upgrade will significantly boost the company's output, meeting the consistently high demand for quality carpet products across Kazakhstan.
Bal Textile launched its carpet production operations in 2013 and has since grown into one of the largest manufacturers of its kind in Central Asia. The company currently produces approximately 4.5 million square meters of carpet each year.
Today, the company distributes its products throughout Kazakhstan and exports to neighboring countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
With the expansion of production capacity enabled by Industrial Development Fund JSC, the factory will create 37 new jobs, increasing its total workforce to 495 employees.
