With the support of Industrial Development Fund, 14 invataxi units were transferred to the Akimat of Astana

Akim of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek on his Instagram page announced an increase in the number of invataxis in the city by almost 30 units, the official website of the Akimat of the capital reports.

This year, the number of invataxis has been increased by almost 30 units. For example, last year there were 117 cars, now there are 145.

An important issue in invataxi is the increase in the number of specialized vehicles that are designed specifically for transporting people with disabilities that use wheelchairs. The number of such special vehicles has been increased to 26. Today, Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev got acquainted with the advantages of such special vehicles.

In total, the number of invataxis has almost doubled over the past two years. Invataxi provides equal opportunities for people with disabilities, contributing to their social integration and improving the quality of life and freedom of movement. The new technology will improve the promptness, coherence and efficiency of the services provided.

In addition, the efforts are also taken to expand the network of rehabilitation centers, accessibility of the urban environment, prosthetic and orthopedic care, sanatorium treatment, etc.
