On September 27, 2024, the official opening of Intago Kazakhstan LLP plant for the production of non-woven geosynthetic materials took place in "National Industrial Petrochemical Technopark" Atyrau Special Economic Zone. The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Industrial Development Fund JSC, Azat Abaidildin.

This project was successfully implemented with the financial support of Industrial Development Fund  JSC as part of comprehensive efforts to promote the establishment of new manufacturing enterprises in the country's processing industry.

As is known, one of the Fund’s financing directions is the construction of light industry plants under the "Concept for the Development of the Processing Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029". In accordance with this program, a leasing transaction for Intago Kazakhstan LLP was financed in 2023 for the acquisition of necessary high-tech equipment.

The activities of this innovative plant are aimed at producing domestic geotextile fabric and creating around 40 new jobs.

The total cost of the project is 1,365,000,000 tenge, of which the financing provided by the Industrial Development Fund JSC amounts to 612,873,730 tenge with an annual interest rate of 3%. The leasing term is set for 8 years.

The planned annual production volume of this modern enterprise exceeds 15 million square meters of high-quality non-woven geosynthetic materials, significantly meeting the internal demand of the republic and contributing to import substitution.

Moreover, in the foreseeable future, Intago Kazakhstan LLP intends to supply its products to the markets of neighboring countries, such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and others. Overall, the enterprise plans to export up to 40% of its products.
