JSC "Industrial Development Fund" financed the purchase of equipment for a hydroelectric power plant.
The supplier was a general foreign contracting organization.
The small hydroelectric power station on the Turgusun River involves the use of modern technical solutions that correspond to the latest achievements of science and technology in the field of designing hydroelectric power plants.
The implementation of the project will create regional generating capacities for the production of alternative electricity and cover the volumes purchased from outside, will reduce the deficit of about 79.8 million kWh in the East Kazakhstan region. And it will create 20 new permanent jobs.
The average annual electricity generation of the HPP will be about 79.8 million kWh, which can reduce carbon monoxide emissions into the atmosphere by 680 tons per year.
